FAQs.

How long does it take to have a piece of jewellery made?

Once the design is signed off, it will hopefully take 4-8 weeks for the piece to be made, depending on the complexity of the design. If you have a deadline in mind, please do let us know – we will do everything we can to have it made on time.

Do you use conflict free stones?

We only use trusted suppliers, who are committed to working with the utmost integrity and ensure the purchase of precious metals, polished diamonds and other gemstones reflect the highest standards of conduct.

Can I use stones that I already own?

Absolutely! We specialise in this and often work with clients who bring their own stones, either loose or already set in a piece that requires remodelling.

What metals do you use?

We use 9ct and 18ct yellow, white and rose gold, as well as platinum and palladium.

Do you work with clients remotely?

Yes, definitely. We can easily work with clients remotely, using emails, phone calls, whatsapp, skype, etc.

What’s the best way to care for my jewellery?

See our jewellery care guide, click here.

Can you give a letter for jewellery valuation?

We are always happy to provide a letter for valuation on bespoke pieces that we have made from start to finish.

How does payment work?

We usually require a 50% deposit to start making the piece, and the final 50% payment is required on completion and can be paid either prior to or on the day of collection before the piece is released.

Do you repair and clean jewellery?

We are really happy to repair and clean any piece of jewellery that we make. We encourage you to have it checked with us every year, like a jewellery ‘MOT’, especially if worn everyday – we’ll check it over, re-polish the metal (if you want) and get it back to you asap to continue enjoying wearing it. Unfortunately, we cannot repair jewellery that we haven’t made.

I don’t know the ring size for a surprise proposal – is this an issue?

Not an issue at all. We can help estimate an appropriate size, and if it’s not quite right, we can resize it post-proposal free of charge, so that it fits perfectly.

How do you post jewellery?

For UK orders, we use the Royal Mail’s Special Delivery service, which is a tracked and insured next day delivery service that will need to be signed for on delivery. We can also arrange for courier delivery if you are based in London.
